Ever had a time in your life, maybe during your teenage years, when you ate like a horse and never gained any weight?
Perhaps you were one of those people we all love to hate, people who effortlessly remain skinny even though they eat more than everyone else.
 
Once upon a time I used to be one of them.
Many years on are you like me, battling to stem the weight gain nightmare? 
Now when I think back to those “good old days” I wish I could turn back time.

I remember my late teenage years; when I was really skinny and all legs and arms.  
All I ever wanted then was to put on some weight and develop some curves.
Most of my time was spent obsessing over being a late bloomer.
Now fast forward 10 -15 years later and it’s a complete turn around.
Guess it’s true what they say, be careful what you wish for because you just might get it!

After years of being able to eat whatever I wanted and of gulping down endless cups of sodas without gaining much weight, everything changed and the weight started piling on like crazy.
Now I find I can no longer get away with the things I used to; guess it’s now pay back time!

Over a 5 years period I just got bigger and bigger every passing year and knew I had to do something about it at some point.
Things finally came to a head in the last year and I decided it’s time to take control of my eating habits, lose the excess weight and get healthy.
And so began my weight loss journey.

My personal struggles with losing weight, the search for a lasting solution to maintaining a healthy lifestyle and the disappointment and successes I’ve had are my inspirations for setting up this website.
I know there are others like me out there, struggling to lose weight and wanting to take control of their lives.
